How to polish jewelry

If your jewelry develops tarnish over time, don’t worry—it can be easily polished to restore its beautiful shine.

For best results, use the Mayflower Products Jewelry Cleaner and Polishing Cloth, available on Amazon.

To remove tarnish, gently buff the jewelry with the white cloth first, followed by the gray cloth. The white cloth is dry-infused with cleaning agents, so no additional polish is required. The untreated gray cloth is designed to bring your jewelry to a brilliant, high-shine finish.

Storage Tip

If you store your jewelry in the Rhonda Kaye Studios gift box, please remove the cotton padding before long-term storage. The cotton can trap moisture and accelerate tarnishing of the alloy beads over time.

I learned this firsthand when some of my own alloy-bead jewelry tarnished after being stored in the box with the cotton padding for several months. Fortunately, the tarnish polished away easily, and the jewelry's beautiful luster was fully restored.
